Do I need safety policies?

Technically no however, specific procedures are often required by OSHA standards.  KAFA's experience has shown that general safety policies are the foundation for a superior safety program.  KAFA has facilitated many groups in developing their own safety policies that give the employees ownership of the policies.

KAFA's expertise includes:

• Facilitation of employee teams to develop safety policies that show ownership by everyone.
• Practical experience in explaining the benefits of omissions* to safety policies.

* Some safety policies are over restrictive and can not be enforced or are not practical.
